Meet Sara Arnstein
Educational & Career Consultant | Talent Development Leader | Advisor
Bridging education and employment to help students and graduates make informed decisions about their future
Together, we explore what motivates you, identify your unique strengths, and create a realistic plan for the future.
My approach is centered on helping students and graduates make informed decisions that align with who they are and where they want to go. Drawing on more than 20+ years developing talent, leadership experience at Deloitte and EY, leadership coaching, and career advisory roles, I bring a unique perspective that bridges education and employment—helping young people understand not only their options, but how those choices connect to future opportunities.
By combining self-awareness, exploration, and practical planning, I help students identify opportunities that align with their interests, strengths, and aspirations. The result is a clearer sense of direction and a personalized roadmap for moving forward with purpose.

How I got here
For more than 20 years, I worked in talent development, leadership coaching, and career advisory roles, helping individuals identify their strengths, navigate important career decisions, and reach their full potential. Through my work at Deloitte, EY, and other organizations, I gained a deep understanding of how people grow, what drives performance and engagement, and how careers evolve over time.
As my own children began navigating post-secondary and career decisions, I saw firsthand how overwhelming these transitions can be for students and their families. I also recognized a gap between educational planning and career preparation. Students were being asked to make important decisions about programs, majors, and career paths without always understanding how those choices connected to future opportunities.
That realization inspired me to launch Ready to Launch Consulting.
Why This Work Matters
Today's students face more choices—and more pressure—than ever before. As a parent and a talent development professional, I've seen firsthand how overwhelming educational and career decisions can feel for both students and their families.
While many educational consultants focus primarily on admissions, I am equally passionate about helping university students and recent graduates navigate the questions that come next:
Am I in the right program?
What career options fit my strengths?
How do I gain experience?
What does a meaningful career path look like for me?
Ready to Launch Consulting was created to help answer those questions. By bridging education and employment, I help students develop the self-awareness, direction, and practical skills needed to navigate transitions with greater confidence and purpose.
What Makes My Approach Different
My background gives me a unique perspective that bridges education and employment.
Drawing on a Master's degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and more than two decades of experience helping organizations attract, develop, and retain talent, I bring insights into what motivates people, what drives success, and what employers look for when evaluating candidates.
While many educational consultants focus primarily on admissions and many career coaches focus on job search strategies, I help students understand how educational choices, skill development, and career opportunities connect over time.
The result is a practical, strengths-based approach that helps students prepare not only for their next step but for long-term success.
On a Personal Note,
As the parent of three children—two currently in university and one in high school—I have experienced many of the same educational and career decisions that students and families face today.
This personal perspective complements my professional background and helps me understand the opportunities, challenges, and uncertainty that often accompany these important transitions.
Outside of Ready to Launch Consulting, I am a volunteer mentor with Girls E-Mentorship (GEM) and provide career coaching to university students through Youthfully, supporting young people as they explore their strengths, interests, and future possibilities.
