I also recognize that these transitions impact the entire family. For parents, I offer an objective and supportive perspective that helps reduce uncertainty, ease stress, and foster productive conversations.
How I got here…
For more than 20 years, I worked in leadership development, talent management, and coaching, helping individuals gain a deeper understanding of their strengths, interests, and potential while developing the skills needed to succeed in their careers.
Over time, I recognized that many of the same questions and challenges professionals face throughout their careers begin much earlier. Students and young adults are often asked to make important decisions about their education and future direction while navigating uncertainty, competing expectations, and countless possibilities.
I founded Ready to Launch Consulting to bring the same strengths-based coaching, personalized guidance, and career development expertise to students and young adults, helping them gain clarity, build confidence, and move forward with purpose.
Why This Work Matters
While many educational consultants focus primarily on the transition from high school to post-secondary education, my experience and passion extend beyond admissions. I also support university students and recent graduates who may be questioning their major, exploring career options, searching for internships, or navigating the transition into the workforce.
This unique focus is what inspired Ready to Launch Consulting. By combining educational guidance with decades of experience in talent development and career coaching, I help students build the self-awareness, skills, and confidence needed to thrive in school, work, and life.
What Makes Me Different
My guidance is informed by a Master's degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and decades of experience helping individuals identify strengths, make decisions, and thrive through transitions.
My clients benefit from guidance grounded in real-world employer expectations, hiring trends, and career development expertise—not just academic advising.
While many advisors focus exclusively on high school admissions, I also support university students and recent graduates who are seeking clarity on majors, career paths, internships, and post-graduate opportunities.
I help reduce uncertainty and tension between parents and their children by creating a collaborative process that keeps both students and families informed, aligned, and moving forward with confidence.
On a Personal Note,
I’ve been married for over 23 years and I’m a mother of 3 children - 2 boys in University (one in 3rd year and one in 2nd year and a daughter in high school) so I have gone through the process and understand the stress on students and their families as they navigate these transitions.
I’m passionate about health and wellness - peloton, Pilates and pickleball and have recently taken up golf.
I also have a Bernedoodle named Connor.
I also volunteer with Girls E-Mentorship (GEM) , a program that provides mentorship for girls in high school facing socio-economic challenges. As a coach with Youthfully, I provide 1:1 coaching for students at Huron University who are looking for career guidance.
